Job Description
Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum patient rehabilitation. Provides Speech-Language Pathology services as defined by the California Speech Therapy Practice Act, applying the principles, methods, instrumental procedures, and noninstrumental procedures for measurement, testing, screening, evaluation, identification, prediction, and counseling related to the development and disorders of speech, voice, cognition, language, or swallowing. Applies principles and methods for preventing, planning, directing, conducting, and supervising programs for habilitating, rehabilitation, ameliorating, managing, or modifying disorders of speech, cognition, voice, language or swallowing in individuals or groups of individuals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience in acute care hospital setting.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
Current California Speech-Language Pathology License or current license applicant status. Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association
Salary Range:
$55.52 - $83.28 USD Hourly
