Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and an aesthetically attractive environment for all El Camino Hospital patients, visitors, physicians, auxilians and staff with an emphasis on experience in a high performing or fast paced environment. Position is accountable as the “senior” person providing direction to other Environmental Service (EVS) employees as directed. This position may be required to accept work assignments across departments or El Camino Hospital campuses/locations (enterprise) within a 15 mile radius.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Four years EVS/unit support experience working at El Camino Hospital required and/or prior lead or supervisory experience
3. Significant experience working in a fast paced procedural setting (Interventional Services, Endoscopy, Operating Room, Emergency Department, etc.).
4. Competent computer skills in Windows/Outlook / EPIC environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, bilingual a plus.
6. Able to direct the workflow for the shift in a high performing/fast paced environment.
7. Crucial Conversation skills (will train).
8. Experience with U-V disinfection.
9. Transport patients and discharge cleaning.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
1. Heartsaver CPR Certification - American Heart Association
2. Current California driver’s license.
Salary Range:
$33.38 - $41.39 USD Hourly
